Godfrey Palaia, long-time manager of Stony Brook's University Café, located on the first floor of Stony Brook's Student Union Building, has unexpectedly taken a leave of absence. However, students accustomed to enjoying the Café for social gatherings and live entertainment shouldn't fear: According to the Café's new manager, Paul Crespo, "the café is going to stay open and operating just as it has been for the last few years." Michael Rooney, an employee at the Café, added that though "things might be a little hectic to start out," she expects students and employees alike will adjust to the changes quickly and with relative ease.
