Dear Graduate Students,

Every year the Graduate Student Organization
prepares and publishes the Survival Guide. The goal of this
publication is to share the knowledge and experience we gained during
our years here to make the life of new graduate students easier and more enjoyable.

The Graduate Student Organization is looking for an individual who is
willing to prepare the new edition of the Survival Guide.  It will
be given out to new students during the August 2007 and January

experienced with various aspects of the University, life in Stony
Brook and Long Island in general.   He or she will have a good knowledge of places to dine out

and attractions to visit.  He or she will also have experience dealing with University structures and will be able to communicate the best ways to new students to navigate them.  Knowledge of graphic layout is essential.

You can check the previous issues of the Survival Guide at the GSO
website at http://www.ic.sunysb.edu/Clubs/gso/services/guides.php   Copies are also available in the GSO office.

As a compensation, you will receive $700 for the completed job.
